Inspect the Roof and Gutters
- Check for any loose, cracked, or missing shingles from winter storms.
- Clear gutters and downspouts of debris and ensure they drain properly away from the foundation.
Inspect the Foundation and Drainage
- Look for cracks in the foundation and re-caulk or repair them before they widen.
- Check that the soil slopes away from the foundation to prevent water pooling.
Check Exterior Paint and Siding
- Look for peeling paint or damaged siding, which can lead to moisture infiltration.
- Power wash the exterior to remove mildew, dirt, and built-up grime.
Service the Air Conditioning Unit
- Schedule professional maintenance for (the “Spring Check-Up”).
